We’re taking a slight different approach to this small-group journey with a specific focus on art and design. The city of Havana abounds with art deco, art nouveau, modern and classical designs. This plethora of design is part of what makes this city so beautiful and lures people into its magic.
We will meet with several experts in historical architecture and art in the beginning of the trip to learn about how Havana became the beautiful mish mash of design that it is today and how and why parts of the city are in decay. This will allow us to understand the second part of our journey in which we will meet with some of the city’s and country’s top artists, photographers, and architectural designers to learn about the current and future design and art trends in Cuba.
We will, of course as always, pepper in lots of other city highlights, magical sundowner spots, the best food and drinks in the city and lots and lots of music and dance.
