Join us for this all-female, all explorers small group journey to the country of Georgia. This 10 day + 9 night itinerary will focus on exploring the natural beauty, history and culture of this beautiful county in the Caucasus.
Beginning and ending in Tbilisi, we will traverse the mountain towns of Stepantsminda and hike, and (quad) bike to ancient monasteries, gorgeous mountain passes and historical areas over three nights/four days. From there we will traverse east to the Tusheti Region and visit the Protected Areas and Nature Reserves. Here we will explore by foot and by horseback through the beautiful and remote regions of Tusheti.
On our return we will drive through Georgia’s ancient wine regions to learn about the historical significance and cultivation of grapes and wine throughout Georgia’s history.
A final farewell and food tour in Tbilisi will round out what is sure to be an amazing small group journey to a less-trodden part of the world.
Accommodations will be split between 4* hotel rooms, camping (equipment provided) and a homestay. All meals except one night in Tbilisi will be included as well as wine with meals. All activities as noted in the final itinerary also included as well as all transfers to and from activities and airport.
