Exploring Northern Kenya

Welcome to the untamed beauty of Northern Kenya, where adventure awaits around every corner and the landscape is a canvas painted with the hue of ochre. Picture yourself atop or alongside a camel, traversing the rugged terrain of Laikipia County, with the majestic Mount Kenya looming in the distance. This is just the beginning of an unforgettable journey that will leave you breathless at every turn.

Our adventure kicks off with a camel safari, a timeless mode of transport that allows us to truly immerse ourselves in the wilderness. As we sway gently with the rhythm of our humped companions, we'll encounter a menagerie of wildlife, from graceful giraffes to majestic elephants. Each day brings discoveries, as we traverse open plains, meander through lush riverbanks, and witness the raw beauty of the African savannah.

But our journey isn't just about wildlife encounters; it's also a chance to connect with the rich cultures that call this land home. We'll visit a Samburu village, where we'll be invited to partake in age-old traditions. From vibrant dances to intricate beadwork, we'll gain insight into the customs and way of life of this proud community. We’ll visit traditional blacksmiths and partake in Samburu warrior games.

For those with a thirst for adrenaline, we offer hiking and rock climbing excursions that will take you off the beaten path and into the heart of the wilderness. Feel the rush of adrenaline as you conquer rocky outcrops and scale towering cliffs, all while surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Northern Kenya.

And let's not forget our visit to the elephant sanctuary, where we'll have the privilege of meeting adorable baby orphan elephants and learning about the conservation efforts underway to protect these magnificent creatures. It's a heartwarming experience that will leave a lasting impression.

For the extra adventurous among us, the journey doesn't end here. We will then jet-off to Lake Turkana to continue your exploration of Kenya's diverse landscapes and cultures. Lake Turkana is a place many tourists do not go to, not because it’s unsafe or uninteresting— quite the contrary. It’s just not on the main tourist trail— lucky for us!

So pack your sense of adventure and join us on a journey to Northern Kenya, where every moment is an opportunity for discovery and every encounter leaves a lasting impression. Get ready to lose yourself in the wild and find yourself in the beauty of Africa.
